First day of me quitting smoking. So far, I haven’t had a cigarette for more than 24 hours. It was very challenging today, because the Internet was down at home. And it wasn’t something that I’m able to fix. Duh!

I kept on getting an error when diagnosing the connection on my 2Wire modem, it was something about “Could not find ATM Circuit”. After spending almost an hour talking to some “techies” overseas. Someone finally claimed that there were a outage affecting the whole mid west (yeah right). After a couple of transfers and “power cycling my modem” instructed by the overseas ”techies”, I basically went no where. And was told that I won’t have Internet usage until the “engineers” fixes the problem!

Dear at&t, your overseas customer support SUCK!

I was hungry so I ran to Subway for their $5 footlong, mang! Then I ordered a footlong turkey breast and ham (with everything but pickles). As the guy was making it, I noticed they didn’t have a sign up about the $5 promo. And I kinda asked if they have the $5 footlong deal. The guy replied “nor!”, I think he said “no”. The people stood in line behind me boooooooed and left. At the point of sale, my total was $6.49. At least I didn’t have to pay tax.

Anyhow, I enjoyed my sandwich. And to let you know, I can afford $1.49 more for a sandwich! FYI, this is the Subway by Ralph’s on Paseo and Mowry.

Since this commercial plays way too often on TV, one of my coworker decided to use thier music as ringtone.

Whats with all the bull crap going on with Tibet, China, Western Countries Boycotting the Chinese Olympics and what’s up with Dali Lama trying to act like Gandhi? Our world is in a phucking mess! I think we, the people in U.S. need to focus on our own issues. What about our war with Iraq, and other terrorists. How about all the drama with our economics and politics? How about all the people losing their houses. Not to mention, gun controls, drugs, violence in our schools, gangs and duh… the freaking gas price!

Instead, you phucking idoits protests in the Olympics torch runs. Can you even phucking point out where Tibet is on the world map? Mind your own phucking business, you dumb phucks!

枪击事件在美国就是家常便饭。在治安比较烂的城市可能被打了路人都不会回头看，直接报警或叫白车。我在一家医院工作。这家医院有湾区最厉害的抢救室 ER，正好在一个“烂”城市。每天Trauma多到爆。有心脏病的、车祸意外的，当然还少不了枪击。就连警察被抢打了都会跑这儿来抢救。其他医院做不来的抢救都要往我们这送。。呵呵，可想而知这里的医生一定是经验丰富了。

被抢击中的人我第一次看见，今天上ER抢修一台电脑的时候突然听到医院大门有人按喇叭，一台黑色的SUV跳下一个6尺高的老黑开了后门将一个人扶下，见那人穿着红衣服。仔细一看原来是白的，只是上面有很多血。警察马上跑了过去封锁现场不让任何人靠近和离开。护士支着病床往那边跑。哦，我终于明白了，那个人被抢打了，可能会死。那可怜的老黑摔倒在地上，可怜兮兮的趴着。他兄弟很着急可只有一只手能帮他，另一只手在打电话。我想可能是在聚集其他的兄弟们来帮小弟报仇雪恨吧。病床从我身边划过，老黑都变成老红了。我觉得有点头晕，想吐。。。靠，这种场面我第一次见到。从前只是亲身经历过。。。哎，难过的往事不再提。。。

不知道他现在是否还活着，如果他还在的话、我祝福他早日康复。康复后改变他对人生的看法。

最近住在我老爸家帮忙看房子。这里的电视只有中文频道，看不了我的MTV。每天湖南台，晕了！我注意到红于超级女声的几个女孩子，呵呵，真有意思。还有那么那么多庸俗的“粉丝 (Fans)”一个劲的为她们喝彩。那舞台简直太漂亮了，比美国的American Idol强多了、人也不知道多了多少倍。美国的American Idol有个怪处，海选时的很多人几乎都是“玩笑”。无论长相、歌声都仿佛是荧光屏里泼出来的馊水，淋得人“喷臭”。评委们都习以为常了，Simmon (评委) 的口头禅是 “You’ve wasted my time, and yours.”

这种比赛很久前就有了，可当时没有这么普遍的在电视台上推广，赢了也就赢了。现在？哇！打开电视、路上的海报或者国内N多产品的封面上都是这些超级女声。台湾最近也有个“星光大道”里面出来了几个厉害的。说说超女，那李雨春。不解她怎么一炮而红，而越红再红。国内很多女孩子走这样的TB路线。李的特点据我定论为：无声、无冒、无躯、无台风。你喜欢她的话我要给你评个“无品味”。专辑一张一张的出，难道卖得出去？呕~！现在听到丫唱我就有关电视的冲动。换一个角度来思考，我设想湖南台是在同情这么一位外表丑又没有什么才艺的女孩子。同时也借着这个角色的出现来激发当今国内的孩子们，让他们知道无论自己是什么货色都有权利追求自己的梦想。然而，还带有了些商业性的理由。

拉倒吧！我睡觉去。以后看到李我就换台。
