Thursday night, I cannot wait anymore. I decided to purchase iPhoneSimFree (IPSF) v1.6 to fix my baseband. If you have upgraded to version 1.1.1 and bricked your phone, follow the instructions I provided previously to unbrick and activate the phone back to 1.0.2 firmware. I paid $60 to purchase IPSF (The only software that unlock/fix 1.1.1 baseband for now.) to have the phone recognizing my SIM and change the IMEI back to original.

Note: If your iPhone was bricked, the IMEI changed to a default number. When using IPSF, make sure you take out your SIM, although the instructions might tell you to leave it in. Because the IEMI changes only if bricked iPhone descovers a SIM in the slot. It shows your original IEMI when SIM removed.

Alright. So, I managed to unbrick my iPhone into iTouch. Basically it has all the features except Calling/SMS/GPRS. But, it’s a break through for me.

Now, waiting for someone to come up with the baseband restore. Then I can have my iPhone back! Yeh!! Here are the steps for my notes. I’m not responsible if this causes any damage to your device.

• Download iTunes 7.4
• Dock your iPhone and connect it to windows, and press Power+Home button for exactly 10 seconds. Meanwhile you will see the slide to power off screen.
• Download Apptap
• Confirm your iTune software is not running. Press Crt+Alt+Del Task Manager and end the process of itunes and itunes helper.
• Dock your iPhone and run Apptap. It will jailbreak your iphone and install installer.app on your iphone. It might show error at first. But just restart the program and your iPhone keep on trying till it gets done! Don’t worry how many times it takes. It will get through.
• Download Paycay (This activates iPhone without using iTunes.)
• Run the “(CLICK HERE) activate” Batch File. Follow the instructions. This step should get through at once.
• Restart and it should be back to the normal mode without asking you to activate. 

OK! Let’s wait for the next step!

Has been a few days since the iBrick heartbreak. My iPhone is sitting on my desk collecting dust. There are ways to unbrick it now according to the iPhone Dev Team, but it works only on mac. (I knew I should’a kept my macbook!)

I was watching TV in the living room, heard my MSN alerted. So I walked up to my computer to take a look. I noticed I received a message from XXXXX (Won’t name names). The message said:

Accept IMG_3451.ZIP from XXX? Yes / No

I can immediately tell this a virus. Well, maybe you would think “Yeah right, you didn’t accept the file.” I didn’t! Cuz it know if I accept the file and opened it, you will be receiving the same message from me. I know you would of accept and opened my attachments due to my hotness. Right? Ladies? Come’on!

So, I searched it on google. According to McAfee, this is a Internet worm spreading through MSN Messenger. Here are more possible tease messeages from this particular virus.

This happens almost once a year, that I catch a bad cold. It all started a week ago when the temperature dropped about 20 degrees. First I felt my throut hurts waking up one day. That’s a very bad sign. Cough… Cough…

Then, no matter what pills I take, it goes on. When I cough, it’s bad. It last about a month before it gets any better. Like I said, this happens at least once every year, last year, I went to the doctor. Of course, she said:

You need to exercise and stop smoking.
